Our Principal and Staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

At Batemans Bay Public School, we are proud to provide a positive and supportive learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their personal best. High expectations are at the heart of our approach, and our dedicated staff work closely with students to help them succeed.

Our teachers know their students well and build strong, respectful relationships that foster confidence and independence. We aim for all students to become resilient, adaptable learners who are well prepared for an ever-changing world. As the challenges of education continue to grow, we know that working together as a school and community is essential to helping every child reach their full potential.

Student wellbeing is also central to our work. Through whole-school programs and a strong focus on our values of Kindness, Respect and Responsibility, we create a safe and welcoming environment where individuality is celebrated and achievements are shared.

At Batemans Bay Public School, we believe every student has the ability to shine — and together, we can make that happen.  I invite you to become an active part of our school community and share in the journey of learning, growth and success.

Matt Rose, Relieving Principal of Batemans Bay Public School
